Fabeee Co., Ltd. ITTA Business Division Tech Division Division Manager Toshiki Higashi

We interviewed Mr. Toshiki Higashi, Division Manager of the Tech Division, ITTA Business Division at Fabeee Co., Ltd., about the background behind introducing Repsona and his experience using it.

Please tell us about your work and your role.

Mr. Higashi:
Fabeee Co., Ltd. is an IT company specializing in AI research and development as well as SES (System Engineering Service) business. I lead a remote SES service called “Team Development for Labs.” All members work remotely using online tools.

Some clients who prefer face-to-face collaboration may initially be concerned about fully remote development, but by spending a few months on-site or transitioning gradually while fine-tuning workflows, we’ve been able to gain their trust.

As remote work has become more common, we’ve leveraged our strengths through effective use of online tools and virtual meetings.

What kind of work do you use Repsona for?

Mr. Higashi:
We’re currently in the trial phase of introducing Repsona within the company, and I’m personally using it for individual development projects. I like to experiment with technologies I don’t usually handle at work—for example, creating a service to manage my bookshelf using the National Diet Library API.

What issues did you face before using Repsona?

Mr. Higashi:
From my experience, medium-scale development requires not only task management but also document management—such as process charts (Gantt Chart) and specifications. It’s inefficient to handle these across multiple tools within the same project.

For example, Trello can be used for task management, but to add a Gantt chart you need a plugin, and for document management, you need yet another tool.

Repsona also offers a document management feature

Why did you choose Repsona?

Mr. Higashi:
With Repsona, it’s great to have a single tool that covers both project and document management. Even on the free plan, all the core features are available. Other services usually require paid plans for Gantt charts, Kanban boards, or Burndown charts. I chose Repsona because I was impressed by how much you can do for free.

How has your experience with Repsona been?

Mr. Higashi:
The response speed to inquiries and feedback emails is excellent, which makes the service feel very reliable.

I also participate in the Slack community, and I enjoy seeing how the team interacts with users. Communication feels smooth and positive.

Another thing I appreciate is how lightweight Repsona is—it’s always fast, and I’ve never felt any lag.

What do you expect from Repsona in the future?

Mr. Higashi:
If Repsona continues to evolve as it has, I think it will become a service we’ll want to use even more! It would be great if notifications became more detailed and customizable.
When I first started using Repsona, I found the difference between “Responsible” and “Ball” a little confusing, so it might be helpful to have a guide that explains such detailed usage.
