We interviewed Mr. Sato, who is an engineer who develops apps using FileMaker at Ayatori System Co., Ltd., to talk about the background behind the introduction of Repsona and the usability.

What kind of work do you use Repsona for?

Mr. Sato: I'm developing a custom app using the FileMaker platform. The development is done by one person, but the test is a team play of 2 to 3 people, so I use Repsona for that interaction.

Do you have any issues you felt before using Repsona?

Mr. Sato: I felt I needed some sort of tool to share information online to manage the test cases for my team's system tests. However, I thought that the famous ones had too many functions to be used on a small scale, and on the contrary, were difficult to handle.

I was looking for a tool that would get me started as quickly as possible and that wouldn't take long to learn.

Why did you choose Repsona?

Mr. Sato: Repsona can be used in no time after registering, and since I can intuitively understand the operation when I actually touch it, I thought it would be easy to introduce it to the team. The fact that "only necessary functions have been collected" for small-scale use has led to easier understanding and introduction by members.

I also like the fact that it has a knowledge base function (the function name in Repsona is “Note” *function for information sharing, document management). Task management and document management tend to be different tools, but it's very convenient to have a procedure, simple specifications, and conventions to carry out a task right next to the task.

How do you feel about using Repsona?

Mr. Sato: The reason I started using it is that it is easy to get to. I've been a user since the beginning of Repsona beta, but at the same time I felt a lot of potential, but honestly I felt unsatisfactory at the beginning. So, when I gave feedback on the desired function, it was generally supported, and I felt that it would be enough to use it, so I decided to go with this.

Please tell us what you expect from Repsona in the future

Mr. Sato: We have all the necessary parts, but if we include small details, we can think of various things, "I wish this was more like this." I expect that it will be even more complete as all users continue to use it.
